The Asia–Pacific
Journal of Financial Studies (AJFS) invites manuscripts for a special issue on
“AI and Finance in the Asia-Pacific,” scheduled for publication in December
2026. AJFS became the first finance journal published in the Asia–Pacific
region to be covered by the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) in 2006. Visit

TOPICS:
We invite submissions on themes including, but not limited to:
· The impact of AI on finance: How artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies shape corporations, financial markets, intermediaries, and the finance labor market, with particular emphasis on the Asia–Pacific region.
· AI as a research tool: Applications of large language models, machine learning, and other advanced analytic methods to research in corporate finance, asset pricing, and financial intermediation. Submissions should focus on firms and financial market participants in the Asia–Pacific region.
AWARDS:
Up to four (4) papers will be selected and a US$1,000
award will be granted to each selected paper.

All manuscripts submitted by June 30, 2026,
will be considered for this special issue. The submission fee is waived; please
upload the Submission Charge Form without PayPal information to complete your
submission. We expect to complete the review process by November 15, 2026.
Early-accepted papers may be published online prior to the release of the
special issue, scheduled for December 2026.
