Dear KSA Members and Visitors,

Greetings. I am Na, Hyun Seung, the 43rd President of Korea Securities Association (KSA). I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all our members for entrusting me with this significant responsibility. Since its inception in 1976, KSA has established itself as the first and most prestigious academic society in the field of finance in Korea, thanks to the dedication and hard work of our predecessors and members.

This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of KSA. I am committed to preserving the brilliant achievements built as our proud assets such as AJFS, KJFS, CAFM, and SFR, while further enhancing their quality. To honor our 50-year legacy, I pledge to devote my full efforts to the following visions.

An Association Where Every Member is a Protagonist:

We will strive for an association where the profound wisdom of senior members and the passionate energy of junior members harmonize seamlessly. We aim to create an environment where members from both the greater Seoul area and regional areas communicate without barriers, and where the practical expertise of industry professionals organically fuses with the academic insights of scholars. To this end, we will improve accessibility for regional members and strengthen substantive industry-academic cooperation projects.

Deepening Research and Leading the Growth of the Next Generation:

We will provide practical and concrete support for members’ academic activities. We will expand access to research data and have high-quality academic seminars. In particular, we will strengthen academic and financial support systems for young scholars and doctoral students to encourage the participation of the next generation of academics. We will also provide full support to ensure that CAFM, which has solidified its international status with over 200 submissions for two consecutive years, and SFR, a key hub for young scholars, can leap to the next level. Through these efforts, KSA will serve as a reliable pillar for the bright future of the finance community.

An Association That Exerts Real-World Influence through Policy Contributions:

KSA will serve as a public forum for producing policy alternatives. By hosting timely policy seminars and symposia on rapidly changing capital market issues, we will provide a space where financial authorities, market participants, and academic experts can engage in rigorous discussion. Through the Industry-Academic Research Council and the 'Securities Sarangbang,' we will actively communicate with the market and support research on domestic capital markets to ensure that your academic insights lead to actual institutional improvements.

Together with our members, we will grow alongside the capital market. True growth of KSA would be only possible through your active participation and warm interest. KSA is an inseparable partner of the capital market. its value truly shines only when we coexist and thrive together with the market. I will march forward to ensure KSA remains an association that provides the joy of research and a sense of pride to our members, while offering practical solutions to the market.
