Asia-Pacific Journal of Financial Studies (AJFS) invites manuscripts for publication in the Special Section on Asset Management in its October 2016 issue (Volume 45, No. 5). Up to three manuscripts will be selected for publication in the special section.
Asset management for pensions, sovereign wealth funds, and other large long-term investors is a challenging area particularly in the recent volatile financial markets. Compared to mutual funds, with their relatively long-term nature, these investments have profound influences on various finance functions, such as asset pricing, corporate financing and investment, corporate governance, and risk management. The special section is devoted to the empirical and theoretical studies of these and other related issues, both positive and normative. Examples of relevant topics may include, but not limited to:
. Pensions asset management in general
. Sovereign wealth funds management in general
. Risk management in pensions, sovereign wealth funds, and others
. Governance issues in large pensions, sovereign wealth funds, and others
. Alternative investments for pensions, sovereign wealth funds, and others.
. SRI in pensions, sovereign wealth funds, and others.
