CALL FOR PAPERS


Asia–Pacific Journal of Financial Studies

INVITES MANUscRIPTS FOR PUBLICATION

 

 

Asia–Pacific Journal of Financial Studies (APJFS) invites you to submit complete research papers for the publication of academic research in all areas of finance in APJFS. The journal has been selected for coverage in the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) as of 2006, and is the only SSCI–included finance journal in Asia. APJFS has been published since 1980 by Korean Securities Association (KSA) which is the oldest and largest academic organization of finance scholars and practitioners in Korea. This journal currently publishes bimonthly, and covers all finance areas. Please visit the journal website: www.apjfs.org

Both theoretical and empirical research papers related to Pacific–Basin financial markets are welcome.

 

PAPER SUBMISSION:

 

Please submit a copy of your paper via e–mail to apjfs2008@gmail.com by June 15, 2008, using MS Word or Adobe pdf file format. There is no submission fee. All submitted papers will be blind–reviewed. The submitted papers have not been previously published in whole or in part, and are not being simultaneously considered for publication elsewhere.

 

PAPER STYLE:

 

All papers written in English must be accompanied by an abstract of a maximum of 500 words. The cover page of the paper should contain the paper title, the author’s name, affiliation, address, and e–mail address. The second page should contain the paper title and the abstract only.

 

 

AWARDS:

 

For the accepted papers, $2,000 (USD) award will be granted for each paper up to ten papers on the condition of the publication in Asia–Pacific Journal of Financial Studies. We expect to complete the review process and notify the final results without accompanying reviewers’ reports by August 31, 2008. The accepted papers are planned to be published in the regular issues of the journal for 2008 or 2009. If more than ten papers are accepted, only the first ten papers are awarded and published in APJFS. The other papers can be published with permission from the author(s) without the award.
