The Third International Conference on Asia–Pacific Financial Markets

The Third International Conference on Asia–Pacific Financial Markets (CAFM) will be held on December 6, 2008 (Saturday) at the Chosun Hotel in Seoul, Korea with Dongcheol Kim as Program Chair. Among 110 papers submitted from the 19 countries, only 48 research articles were selected to be presented after careful review by CAFM review committee. 

Competitive research awards of US$2,500 will be given to each of the six best papers at the farewell dinner. All other presenters (one author per paper) from abroad will be provided grants of US$500 to help defray travel costs. The keynote speaker for the third CAFM will be Professor Laura Starks, professor of University of Texas at Austin, and the Editor of the Review of Financial Studies.
