Asia–Pacific Journal of Financial Studies
on Market Microstructure and Related Issues

Asia–Pacific Journal of Financial Studies (APJFS) invites manuscripts for a special issue on market microstructure and related issues, scheduled for publication in 2010. APJFS is the only finance journal published in Asia covered by the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI). APJFS has been published since 1980 by the Korean Securities Association (KSA), the oldest and largest academic organization of finance scholars and practitioners in Korea. Topics for the Special Issue include, but are not limited to, theoretical, experimental, and empirical research in the following areas:
· Trading mechanisms and execution quality
· Information disclosure and market quality
· Liquidity and asset pricing
· Behavioral finance and market microstructure
· Corporate finance and market microstructure
· International comparison of market structure and market quality
· Corporate governance and liquidity
· Speed of information transmission
· Liquidity provision in electronic limit order markets
AWARDS:
Up to four papers will be selected for the Special Issue and USD2000(or 2,000,000KRW) award will be granted to each selected paper.
SUBMISSION INFORMATION:
All manuscripts must be in English and include an abstract of fewer than 500 words. The cover page should contain the paper’s title, the author’s name, affiliation, address, and e–mail address. The second page should contain only the paper’s title and abstract. All manuscripts should be submitted in PDF format to keechung@buffalo.edu by August 15, 2009. No submission fee is required. We expect to complete the review process and notify the result by December 31, 2009.
